My name is Wendy Altman and it is such a blessing to be serving at AVCS as a Kindergarten teacher. I graduated from CSULB with a B.A. in Liberal Studies and a minor in sociology. From there, I continued my career path into the credential program where I received a Multiple Subject Life Teaching Credential. God has given me the privilege of teaching since 1983 and I am truly blessed by the students and families I come in contact with each day.

I am married to my wonderful husband Steven. We have 3 married children, and 4 grandchildren. I am a native Californian and absolutely love living in Southern California. I would have to say, however, that Maui is my getaway of choice. My extended family gathers there annually in the summer to reconnect and relax!

My favorite Bible verse is: Ecclesiastes 3:1. “For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under Heaven.”

I am so happy to be a CONQUEROR.
