Hi everyone! My name is Ms. Burgett, and I am so excited to be one of the JK teachers at AVCS this year! I’ve been a part of the AVCS community since 2022, serving in several roles—including 4th grade IA and 2nd grade IA—and I feel so blessed to now have my own classroom.

I earned my undergraduate degree from Vanguard University of Southern California and received my teaching credential from Concordia University Irvine. I grew up in Las Vegas but have called Southern California home since 2015.

When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll usually find me serving in Kids Ministry at my church, exploring new coffee shops (White Sparrow in Tustin is my favorite!), or enjoying a day at Disneyland.

I’m so thankful for the opportunity to teach your children this year, and I’m looking forward to a wonderful year together!
