Hello, my name is Matthew Phipps. I am looking forward to another of many amazing years here at AVCS! I have a passion for fully equipping students in the knowledge and understanding of what Christ Jesus did on the cross for us and how we are called to live by our Creator who loves us. Students will be prepared for every good work God has prepared for them to do inside and outside the classroom, academically, socially, and spiritually. I received my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and a Bachelor of Science from California State University, Fullerton.

I attend Compass Bible Church in Tustin. I am currently single, with no kids. In my personal life, I enjoy staying physically active by hiking, playing basketball, and surfing. I also enjoy spending time in God's Word. I look forward to partnering with you this school year in shepherding your child to success for God's glory!
