I am so blessed to be teaching Science to our middle schoolers. It is going to be a fun year with hands-on experiments and activities to get us excited about science!

I live in Aliso Viejo with my husband, Todd and our two children, Claire and Will. We enjoy hiking, going to the beach, spending time watching football and basketball games (for Will) and theater productions (for Claire), I have been with AVCS since 2016 and I am extremely grateful to be a part of a loving Christian family of administrators, faculty, and parents. Growing up in South Georgia, I attended Georgia Southern University and graduated with a BS in Education with an emphasis in Chemistry. I have a Georgia teaching credential as well as a California Single Subject Credential in Science.

My passion is creating a hands-on learning environment where students can be successful and fall in love with all the science around them. One of my favorite quotes by Benjamin Franklin is “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn”.

I am looking forward to meeting my new students and to a fun and fabulous year as a Conqueror!!
