Hanna Jordan
Hello! My name is Hanna Jordan, and I am so excited to be part of the AVCS community! This school has such a special atmosphere, and I have truly enjoyed getting to know the families here.
I grew up in Oregon and later moved to California to attend college. I studied at Concordia University Irvine, where I played water polo and earned my B.S. in Kinesiology with a minor in Physical Education. Afterward, I attended Biola University, where I was blessed with the opportunity to play one more season of water polo while completing my teaching credential in PE and earning my Master’s in Teaching.
Throughout high school and college, I coached water polo, which confirmed my passion for working with kids. I also developed a deep love for fitness and exercise, which continues to shape how I teach and coach today.
When I moved to California, I quickly fell in love with the beach. I now serve as a California State Lifeguard in San Clemente, spending my summers teaching junior guards at Doheny State Beach. In my free time, I enjoy anything that involves the ocean, along with reading, biking, pickleball, and CrossFit.
One of my favorite Bible verses is John 14:15–17:
“If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever—the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.”
