Hello! My name is Hanna Jordan and I am really excited to be working at AVCS! This school has a really special community, and I am looking forward to getting to know the students and families this year!

I went to Concordia Irvine where I played water polo and got my B.S in Kinesiology and minored in physical education. After that I went to Biola where I got to play one last year of water polo and earned my credential in PE, and am working on my masters in teaching. While I was in college, I was able to fall in love with fitness, and exercise. I always coached water polo in high school and that helped me realize my passion for working with kids.

I am a state life guard in San Clemente where I get to spend my summer teaching junior guards, and working the towers. I grew up in Oregon and when I moved to California I fell in love with the beach and surfing. My hobbies include anything to do with the beach, reading, biking, and pickleball.

My favorite verse is John 14: 15-17 “If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.
