I am so honored to work at AVCS with such an awesome staff and community! I graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in History. Working with middle schoolers while teaching history is my life's passion.

I student-taught in San Luis Obispo, CA for a year and have been doing ministry through Younglife and Trinity Presbyterian Church Santa Ana throughout college. I think teaching history allows students to practice empathy and critical thinking in a space where all students can share their thoughts and be themselves.

My wife, Abby, and I got married in August 2022! God has blessed me with such a loving and supportive partner. I am really passionate about my hobbies which include keeping fish, backpacking, cooking, and traveling.
