I have been teaching art/drama and Home Ec. at Aliso Viejo Christian School since 2007. I have been truly blessed!!
I love teaching JK – fifth grade art and drama. Junior Kindergarten-first grade meet in the art lab every other week, third-fifth meet weekly. In addition to elementary art and drama I also teach Middle school electives. Sixth-Eighth grade musical theater and 7th/8th grade art and Home Economics.
I also offer extra- curricular after school programs for both drama and art. For drama we practice and perform a full children’s musical each year, auditions open to second grade – middle school students. Elementary students (K-fifth) can also join a weekly afterschool art club.
One of the best parts of my job as drama teacher in a Christian school is I get to pray for and with our children and have the freedom to teach the students the importance of using their God given gifts and talents.
On a personal note, I am married to my husband Jim and have 3 children, Michelle, Mychael and Emily. I’m a nature lover and enjoy running and hiking in the beautiful southern California canyons
