I am so delighted and humbled to be welcomed to the Aliso Viejo Christian School teaching team. From what I have already experienced I know I am blessed to be a part of the great community which is AVCS. I look forward to this upcoming year with the excitement of meeting families, discovering each other’s talents, sharing in academic success, and most importantly creating opportunities for our students to build and know a loving relationship with Christ.
I graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science and am currently focused on obtaining my Master of Education in Elementary Education degree through Grand Canyon University. I have been teaching various classes and grades Kinder - 8th since 2015. I know God has etched in my heart the importance and call to be a teacher; I am so inspired and in awe of what that entails every day and am grateful that this is my journey.
When I’m not teaching you can find me with my dog, Nala - the cutest 8-year-old bull terrier you ever did see. We love to go to Lido to our favorite little book store and buy picture books for our collection. We also love watching movies. Anything with a horse in it is Nala’s favorite and it’s funny watching her when they come on the screen.
I have many bible verses that I love and turn to out of gratitude. However, there is always one verse that seems to find me during trying times. It’ll be said in church, on a billboard, quoted in a song, and was even once hidden at the bottom of a shopping bag. It always makes its way to me when I need it most and I consider it my personal verse. “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in Me.” - John 14:1. This verse as simple as it may be, always gives me hope & confidence and I’m thankful every time it finds me.
